CanResidency Terms of Use

1. Acceptance
   By downloading, installing, or using CanResidency, you agree to these Terms of Use and the Privacy Policy.

2. License scope
   We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the app on Apple-branded devices you own or control, as permitted by applicable Apple terms.

3. No app account system
   This app does not require in-app account registration or login. Access and purchase entitlement are based on local device state and Apple purchase status.

4. Intended use and legal boundary
   The app is a personal tracking and planning tool only. It does not provide legal, immigration, tax, or other professional advice.

5. Official determination
   PR or citizenship outcomes are determined only by IRCC/government authorities based on official rules and decisions.

6. User data responsibility and counting basis
   You are responsible for entering complete and accurate records. Day-level calculations use a 5-year rolling basis and Canada timezone (America/Toronto), consistent with the app logic.

7. Subscriptions and purchases
   The app currently offers:
   • Pro Monthly: 1-month auto-renewable subscription
   • Pro Lifetime: one-time purchase (non-consumable)
     Prices are shown in App Store and may vary by region/tax. Payment is charged to your Apple ID account. Auto-renewable subscriptions renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Subscription management, billing, and refunds are handled by Apple according to Apple policies.

8. Service dependencies
   Features such as iCloud sync, reminders, and sharing depend on system permissions, Apple services, network status, and device state. Availability may vary.

9. Export and sharing responsibility
   Exported files are created only by user action. You are responsible for reviewing and controlling how exported data is shared.

10. Intellectual property and restrictions
    The app and related content are owned by Rho Technologies Ltd. Unless permitted by law, you may not copy, distribute, reverse engineer, modify, sublicense, or commercially exploit the app without written permission.

11. Disclaimer and limitation of liability
    To the maximum extent permitted by law, the app is provided “as is” and “as available.” The developer is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses arising from use of, or inability to use, the app.

12. Updates and contact
    These terms may be updated from time to time. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
